Keep the gauze for 20-30 minutes. For the first 2-3 hours don't eat or rinse your mouth. Don't smoke. Don't warm the area, avoid hot drinks.
Eat soft, not hot food. Chew on the opposite side. Mild pain is normal — relieved by a usual painkiller. In case of severe pain, swelling or bleeding, call immediately.
The extraction is done under local anaesthesia — there is no pain during the procedure. After the anaesthesia wears off, mild pain is possible, relieved by a usual painkiller.
